The manager proceeded to guilt trip me and ask me questions like "why aren't you flexible anymore?" and then said "everyone has plans on a Saturday, you couldn't just come in for this one Saturday?" ANYTHING to try to manipulate the situation to where it looked like it was my fault for not coming in on a Saturday morning when I was not scheduled. I explained to them that following Monday that I was sleeping and had not expected to be called into work like that. It was the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen a manager do. One Saturday morning I woke up to 3 missed calls and voicemails at 6 AM from my manager begging me to come into work. Here are some examples on how awful it is to work as a PSS for Mindful Therapy Group:Įxample A: I worked here Monday-Friday usually, around 36 hours per week. Below you will find a thorough, long, and honest review on my experience working as a Provider Support Specialist (PSS) at Mindful Therapy Group. The company isn’t very forthcoming about any of that before you’re hired though - more.īuckle Up. Schedules are somewhat flexible for appointments which is nice.

Most jobs I’ve had offer 2 weeks of sick time plus 2 weeks of vacation. The combined vacation/sick time also seems low for the area at only 12 days. You don’t get paid time-and-a-half for working holidays either. Mindful offers zero (not even Christmas). Most comparable office jobs offer 6-8 paid holidays per year. It doesn’t feel like the company wants its employees to share in that success, however. COVID was the best thing to happen to this company and it is extremely profitable. This may make it sound like the company is failing, but that’s definitely not true. The company has seriously struggled to meet their goals for the last several months, but they continue to set them arbitrarily high. The last week of the month is usually extremely stressful due to overly-high financial goals for the company.

There’s an overwhelming amount of feedback given so I almost always left work feeling like I failed, even while working extremely hard and providing advanced data analysis for low wages. They pay entry-level wages but expect advanced excel skills, data analysis and process improvements. The pressure to stand out and perform is high. But there’s a lot of negatives that make it difficult to work here. Coworkers tend to be really helpful and kind people. The billing department is one of the best departments to work in, thanks to a supportive leadership team that wants to see you grow and get promoted.
