You must use a license key to license your app at the Standard or Advanced level.

Your app is now licensed at the Basic level, capable of remaining offline for up to 30 days, and ready to be built in AppStudio.

After this is done, the watermark and debug messages no longer appear and your app is ready to be deployed. License your app by entering your license key in AppStudio Settings. API keys provide access to content and services whereas a license enables SDK capabilities and removes the developer watermark. When deploying ArcGIS Runtime technology, costs are incurred only at the Basic level and above. To deploy an app, you must use one of the ArcGIS Runtime license levels. Click Upload to manage the upload of your app.ArcGIS AppStudio includes ArcGIS Runtime, which you can immediately use in your app however, any map in your app will be watermarked, and debug messages will appear indicating that your app is licensed for developer use only. To share your app with others, or to build installation files, you must upload it to ArcGIS. Depending on which of the featured templates you choose, there are different properties to configure. Conversely, the featured templates that you can create apps in AppStudio have a lot of settings that you can change. These samples are designed to allow more free editing and less configuration. You may notice that apps created from samples do not have a lot of settings.

To use AppStudio on your desktop, download the installation file for your operating system: Windows (x86 or 圆4), macOS, or Ubuntu and double-click the file to install.įor additional details, see Install ArcGIS AppStudio.
